Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda's Saiyaara made history by becoming the most watched non-english film on the platform globally! 

The Mohit Suri directorial Saiyaara is one of the most talked about films of 2025. With a massive box-office collection and audiences showing love from all sides the film recently added another feather to its credit. 

Saiyaara which released on Netflix last Friday, made history by becoming the most watched non-english film on the platform globally. It surpassed German film Fall For Me and Netflix India's original Inspector Zende. 

According to Netflix's databank, Saiyaara is trending at number 1 in the list of non english films worldwide, with 3.7 million views and 9.3 million hours viewed. Whereas, Fall For Me and Manoj Bajpayee starrer Inspector Zende is far behind Saiyaara. 

Ahaan and Aneet expressed gratitude for all the loves from the audience for their film. Netflix India released a video wherein both Ahaan and Aneet are featuring. They said, "For giving Saiyaara all the love in the world, we love you forever and ever and ever. Saiyaara is trending globally on Netflix, only because of you. Thank you for watching and rewatching and rewatching." 

For the unversed, none of the recent big budget Indian films have managed to enter the global top 2 of Netflix. While taking about its collections, the film collected ₹577 crore at the worldwide box-office. The film became the second highest grossing Indian films of 2025. 

Not just that the film achieved an exceptional feat by becoming the highest grossing romantic Indian film. Right from industry insiders to the masses the film received tons of appreciation whoever witnessed the film on the big screen. 

The film received applause and accolades  from the celebrities as well. Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia Deshmukh, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Akshay Kumar, Mahesh Babu, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Bansal Mehta amongst others openly praised the film for its nuanced performance by actors. The music and the overall story stood up the most as it's main elements.
