Actress Chitrangda Singh is set to shoot with Salman Khan for the upcoming patriotic drama  'Battle Of Galwan' in Leh!

Known for films like Desi Boyz, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3, Bos Biswas, Khel Khel Mein actress Chitrangda Singh in a career of over a decade has shown her versatility as an actresses who have done varied roles and played exceptional characters on the screen.

Not just as an actress but in a short span of time Chitrangda took a challenging job of a producer and made an outstanding sports biography Soorma on the life of Indian hockey player Sandeep Singh. The film was considered hit on the box-office. It was also well receive by critics and audiences alike.

Recently, Chitrangda during an interview opened about her upcoming film with none other than Salman Khan. Yes, it is "Battle Of Galwan." The cast and crew are in Leh all set to kick start their first schedule. Chitrangda has also joined the team to start to shoot.

For the unversed, Battle Of Galwan will be Salman and Chitrangda's first film together. Chitrangda opens about Salman and his fan following. Talking about the same she said initially when the news broke out she was nervous as to whether his fans and masses will accept me opposite Salman as her heroine or not. But she concluded by saying they kind of accepted me and I am happy about it. 

There were some reports suggesting that the team was facing some trouble to shoot in Ladakh amidst tension with China. To resolve that Salman personally met the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to assure him that China won't be defamed in the film. 

Chitrangda spoke about the massive scale at which the makers are mounting the film. She says as it's Battle Of Galwan the film will delve into soldier's emotional and personal lives as well. The film will showcase soldiers as fathers, sons, husbands, the ideal role they also play- which are often not talked about. 

She also spoke about her role saying she will have multiple looks in the film and in order to get it right she went through many look test to look a certain way. The film is based on the real life Galwan Walley clash that occurred on June 15, 2020, between Indian and Chinese soldiers in Ladakh. 

The film is directed by Apoorva Lakhia known for action-driven films like Shootout At Lokhandwala. Some reports suggests that Abhishek and Tabu might play a pivotal role in the film. However, the makers have not issued an official statment on their parts. The producers are aiming to release the film at the end of this year.
