Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai fame Rajesh Kumar opens up about the classic show and his castmates!

Hatsoff Productions most iconic show Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai will go down in history as one of the most successful comedy shows of Indian television. The show which ran in the early 2000s still relives in memory of its fans for its meme, dialogues, characters, etc. 

Amongst the most loved characters of the show Rosesh aka Rajesh Kumar recently shared some anecdotes from their shooting days and the deep bond he shares with the cast even now. Rajesh recently appeared on a youtube podcast channel where he touched upon some memory he still holds with the cast especially legendary actor Satish Shah. 

Rajesh said that he was working with some of the legendary actors like Ratna Pathak Shah and Satish Shah but their presence and reaction made it very easy for Rajesh to slip into the character of Rosesh. He even said that Satish used to rag him the most and treated like his own child just like Rosesh.

The Saiyaara actor revealed that the bond which audience used to watch on their television box the exact relation they had even off screen as well. For those unaware of the show, it featured Satish Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah, Sumeet Raghavan, Rupali Ganguly and Rajesh Kumar. 

He gave an insight as to the cast having a  Whatsapp group where they pull each other's leg and have their same banter they used to have while filming the show. He said we still continue to call each other by our character names. Satish sir, Ratna Ma'am, Rupali and Sumeet still call me Roshu. Whereas, I call them Dad or Kaka and Moma. Sumeet is Bade and I am Chote. 

He shared an anecdote of a scene where he had to recite 1.5 page of dialogue of the activities Rosesh used to do when he was sleepless. Rajesh said he could not do that scene and took eight takes to get it right. He even recalled that disgusted by the time I was taking Satish sir asked the team to call him when I am ready with my lines. He recalled saying I don't know whether it was anger, ragging or an insult by Satish Sir. 

On the career front, Rajesh has appeared in countless television shows and films. He appeared in shows like Baa Bahoo Aur Baby, Excuse Me Maadam, Pritam Pyaare Aur Woh etc. He also entertained audience with films like Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, Student Of The Year to name a few. Rajesh has graced the world of webseries with Yeh Meri Family and Kota Factory.
