The second season of the legendary show CID recently made its comeback on Netflix after 6 years. The first 18 episodes of season 2 were aired on February 21, and new episodes will be released every Saturday and Sunday at 10 pm from February 22.

The arrival on Netflix doesn't affect its daily run on television and on Sony Entertainment and stream on Sony LIV.

According to the report, CID ACP Pradyuman will be killed in an upcoming episode, bringing an end to the key character of the series since 1998.

A report swirled around a few days ago, citing a source close to the production, saying Barbussa, played by Tigmanshu Dhulia, will plant a bomb to destroy the CID team.

“While the other members would be saved, ACP Pradyuman would lose his life,” the source said.

What does real-life ACP Pradyuman, aka Shivaji Satam, have to say about it?

Shivaji Satyam makes clear that he is unaware of it. He does not have information on this matter. To quote, he said, “I am personally not aware if the character will be exiting the show or not. Currently, I am enjoying a nice long holiday and have not been informed about any future shooting for CID.”

He also said that any official update regarding the show can only come from the Sony channel, as it is their property.

Rumors on when the episode killing ACP Pradyuman will be aired say that the episode has been shot and will be aired soon.
