Mangal Lakshmi 5th July 2025 Written Episode Update: Will Adit Apologize on Kusum's Demand?

Today's episode starts with Ishan telling Kusum how Kapil slapped Adit in front of everyone and how everyone was making fun of Adit. Ishana says she hates Kapil, and Saumya also adds fuel to the fire, saying this is Mangal's true face as she insulted Adit in front of his colleagues. Saumya says how Adit must be feeling, and that Mangal is behind all this. She says this is enough and dramatically brings a knife, saying, “Get Adit free of this insult-filled life,” as Mangal insults and kills him each day. Saumya blames everything on Mangal and wonders if Kusum will even look at Mangal again.

Meanwhile, Mangal points out that Adit was wrong, but Kapil was also wrong—he shouldn’t have hit him in front of Ishana. She questions what Ishana must think of him now. Kapil admits his mistake and apologizes. He says he tried to control himself, but when Adit used the wrong words for his mother and Mangal, he couldn’t stay quiet. Mangal acknowledges that Adit was drunk, but Kapil was sober. Kapil explains he couldn’t bear his mother being insulted. Mangal understands and is about to say she is doing this engagement for her mother, but Shanti arrives just in time and stops her.

As Mangal prepares to go to Kusum’s house, Shanti stops her, saying she shouldn’t go anywhere. Shanti reminds her that she’s now engaged—how can she think of going to Adit’s house after all the drama? Mangal says she’s going for Kusum’s sake. Shanti tells her to respect Pratima and Kapil now and to leave her past behind. Mangal agrees and suggests they move to their house. Shanti agrees they’ll go in the morning but says she won’t let her go to Adit’s.

Meanwhile, Kusum receives a call from Shanti, who informs her that Mangal is coming to take her belongings and advises her not to stop her. Kusum says, “Why would I stop her?” and questions Shanti on how they allowed Kapil to slap Adit. Shanti counters that it was Kapil’s generosity that he didn’t have Adit arrested. She explains how a drunk Adit created a scene at the engagement and insulted Pratima. Kusum is shocked.

Adit wakes up with a hangover and faces Kusum’s fury. She demands answers about last night. Adit says he needs time but Kusum insists he swear and tell the truth. Adit admits he went to Mangal’s engagement and tells her everything. Kusum, furious, asks him to apologize, but he refuses.

Later, Mangal arrives with Kapil to take her things. Kusum opens the door and allows her in. Kapil respectfully takes her blessings. At home, Kapil, Mangal, and Adit come face to face.
