Mangal Lakshmi 3rd July 2025 Written Episode Update: Drunk Adit Spoils Mangal and Kapil's Engagement!

Today’s episode begins with Shanti’s health worsening. Mangal discovers the reason, Shanti has taken a vow not to eat until Mangal is engaged. Overcome with guilt and emotional pressure, Mangal agrees to the engagement. Meanwhile, Kapil is getting ready, and his mother teases him. Though he senses Mangal might need him, she urges him to get dressed first.

Mangal, drained and conflicted, prepares for the ceremony. Shanti beams with joy, finally seeing her daughter as a bride. The family appears cheerful, except for Mangal. Shanti senses her unease and reassures her that Kapil will bring her the happiness she deserves.

Elsewhere, Adit is anxious. Saumya’s warning about losing his children weighs heavily on him. When he seeks comfort, Saumya brushes him off, needing rest. Adit, feeling isolated and frustrated, steps out and sees Mangal and Kapil’s wedding card. In his imagination, he envisions Kapil confessing love to Mangal, saying he felt a deep connection from their first meeting. Mangal allows him to hug her—but it's all in Adit’s mind.

Back at the venue, Mangal steps out looking stunning. Guests praise Pratibha’s choice, and Kapil can’t take his eyes off her. He compliments her, but she remains emotionless. Sensing her discomfort, he gently asks why. Just then, Mangal sees someone at the entrance—it's Lakshmi. Overcome with emotion, she rushes to hug her. Lakshmi, upset at not being informed about the engagement, is happy to be there. She meets Kapil, who acknowledges Lakshmi's special bond with Mangal.

Lakshmi quickly senses Mangal’s inner turmoil. She greets Shanti, and tension brews between them. Shanti warns her not to cause a scene. Alone with Mangal, Lakshmi questions her happiness. Though Mangal remains silent, Lakshmi suspects she’s under pressure. Just as Mangal is about to open up, Akshat arrives, and she hugs him emotionally. Ishana too makes a surprising appearance and apologizes to Mangal for the past.

Meanwhile, gossip brews among the guests. Some taunt Pratima for being a grandmother and criticize the match, while Kapil’s employees subtly mock Adit. During the photo session, when asked to pose closely, Kapil calls Akshat to ease Mangal's discomfort. Ishana notices and walks away, hurt. Adit, watching all this, drinks heavily, overwhelmed by Mangal’s decision to move on. He injures himself in his drunken state.

The engagement continues with dancing. Lakshmi and Lipika liven up the atmosphere, and Mangal joins them—but her smile is forced. Shanti urges her to be happy, reminding her that this celebration is for her. Mangal says she’s trying, but she can’t pretend. Shanti sternly says this is her life now, and she must learn to accept it.

Just as the ring ceremony begins, Adit storms in, drunk. Kapil tries to escort him out, but Adit grabs his collar and sarcastically claims he’s only there to congratulate them. He begins insulting Mangal, saying she’s old-fashioned and loyal to the man she once loved. He shifts his focus to Lakshmi, taunting her belief that he didn’t value Mangal. Now, he admits Kapil gave Mangal everything he didn’t—respect, love, and partnership. Adit crosses the line, disrespecting Mangal and Pratima. Kapil loses his temper and slaps him. The situation turns chaotic.

Precap: Adit mocks Kapil, calling him Mangal’s “second husband.” Meanwhile, Lakshmi and Kartik reunite, and this time, Lakshmi is determined to reclaim what’s hers.
