Mangal Lakshmi 23rd June 2025 Written Episode Update: Shanti’s Emotional Blackmail and Misunderstandings Deepen Between Kartik and Lakshmi!

The episode begins with Mangal breaking down at the hospital while Kapil stands by her side. Adit watches them from a distance, overcome with jealousy as he overhears Mangal thanking Kapil for arranging ₹8 lakhs. Kapil brushes it off, saying it was her money anyway and he did no favour.

Meanwhile, at home, Kusum learns that Shanti has suffered a heart attack. Saumya overhears Kusum asking Adit to stay with Mangal at the hospital, which fuels her jealousy. Adit urges Kusum to come to the hospital, but as Saumya goes missing, he grows worried. Unbeknownst to him, Saumya is out drinking alone.

Later, Mangal is called to see Shanti, who refuses to undergo surgery. In an emotionally charged moment, Shanti says she wishes they had let her die. When Mangal pleads with her to agree to the operation, Shanti makes a shocking demand — she will only consent if Mangal agrees to marry Kapil. The emotional blackmail leaves Mangal devastated. She runs out of the room and breaks down. Both Adit and Kapil try to comfort her, but the doctor calls her back. Torn and helpless, Mangal agrees to her mother’s condition.

As Shanti is wheeled into surgery, Mangal is haunted by the deal she just made. The next morning, Adit returns home and confronts Saumya about her whereabouts. To cover up her hangover, Saumya turns the tables and lashes out, accusing him of spending intimate time with his ex-wife. Shanti’s operation is successful, and upon regaining consciousness, she tells Mangal she only had her in mind throughout.

Elsewhere, Lakshmi has changed her appearance to stay hidden, but Jia quickly sees through the disguise. Scheming as ever, Jia manipulates the situation by tricking Veda into her car and calling Raghveer to inform him that his daughter is with her. Raghveer is enraged, but Jia gains the upper hand by threatening Veda’s safety, insisting that he must ensure Lakshmi stays away from Kartik.

At the same time, Kartik is still reeling from what he believes to be Lakshmi’s betrayal. His father questions him about Lakshmi’s whereabouts. Though Kartik pretends not to care, his father reminds him of everything Lakshmi did for their family, urging him not to give up on her.

Elsewhere, Lakshmi breaks down upon hearing that Kartik has agreed to marry someone else. Veda notices her pain. Seeing this, Raghveer sits beside Lakshmi and gently urges her to meet Kartik once to seek closure.

Kartik, reflecting on his father's advice, begins to doubt what he saw. He wonders if he misunderstood the situation and considers giving Lakshmi another chance. He arrives at Raghveer’s house just as Kapil gets close to Mangal — a moment that misleads Kartik into believing the two are romantically involved. Disheartened, Kartik walks away.

Meanwhile, Jia prepares for her and Kartik’s pre-wedding celebrations. She tells Kartik’s mother that he arranged everything, leaving his mother shocked. However, Kartik is clearly unsettled, still haunted by what he witnessed. Raghveer, playing a double game, aligns with Jia. He plans to bring Lakshmi to the house, knowing she will be stunned to find the place decked out for Kartik and Jia's wedding.
